This is the Tudor Royal model which has a solid 9ct yellow gold case which of course is fully hallmarked and dates this watch to 1952-53.
It is quite stunning with a champagne coloured dial and gilt numbers and hands. Both the glass and dial are in perfect condition.
The movement is an absolute gem, sparkling clean and in like new condition, this is a movement from the golden age of swiss watchmaking.
As you would expect from Rolex the watch is fully marked on the dial as Tudor, movement and case.
It comes with a new high quality chestnut brown leather strap and presentation box to keep your watch in perfect condition.
Rolex are one of the most exclusive makers in the world and this watch certainly has that understated elegance which resonates class.
The watch case is a smaller version measuring 30mm in diameter not including the crown which makes this an ideal size for a gentleman with a smaller wrist.
Overall this watch is in beautiful near mint condition and looks as if it was hardly ever worn, it would certainly make a perfect gift especially for a man who was born in 1952/56 even as as 60th birthday present in 2012.
The watch has just been fully serviced and is guaranteed to be a genuine Rolex in all respects.
This watch has been fully and professionally overhauled by the Omega specialist Simon Batchelor MBHI of UK Watch Repairs, the process is highly detailed and meticulous.
The watch is stripped down to its component parts and each part is examined under a microscope for signs of wear, any worn parts are replaced with genuine manufacturers original parts. every part is then throughly cleaned in a 3 stage ultrasonic cleaning process.
The movement is then fully assembled using manufacturer approved oils and lubricants and is carried out in a clean room environment. The watch movement is then checked and adjusted for accurate time keeping. The cases are polished and the watch sealed, in the case of waterproof watches a full waterproof presure test is carried out to manufacturers specification.
Obviously this is not a cheap or quick process which is why our watches are sometimes a little more expensive than others but you can be assured our watches will give reliable and dependable service and will not require any further attention for many years.

The watch movement comes with a 12 month warranty.
