French Mantle Clock

19th century
Description

A small, french mantle clock, size 10 x 8.5 x 4.5 ins, C. 1850, with decoative porcelain dial, 3 ins in diameter, the 8 day movement striking the hours and half hours on a bell. The ormulu case having a bronze cherub to the side and white marble moulded platforms.A slight stress fracture is evident to the right side but not broken. The maker Vincenti et Cie. The movement overhaulled and guaranteed.
