An Excellent Victorian Silver Sherry Decanter Label

Description

A quality early Victorian silver wine label. This lovely example is of superior gauge silver. The label is shaped with a turned over scroll border. To the centre Sherry is pierced through in capital letters. The label is suspended with a belcher chain and has full hallmarks to the reverse. A great piece, ideal for the decanter and for collectors of wine labels. Dimensions below.

This Victorian sterling silver decanter label takes the form of a shaped plaque featuring a turned-over scroll border and pierced capital letters spelling out the word Sherry in the centre. The piece hangs from a matching belcher chain attached to suspension loops on the upper corners.
