The pearls are of notably fine quality — generously sized at approximately 8mm, perfectly matched and displaying a rich silver ivory tone with a deep, natural lustre. They drape with graceful weight and feel luxuriously substantial when worn, the necklace weighing 63 grams.
It fastens with a striking 14ct gold star-form clasp, centred with a pearl of approximately 6.9mm. The clasp is fitted with a secure concealed hook. The absence of a safety chain allows the clasp to be worn attractively at the front if desired.
A refined and enduring jewel, equally suitable for day or evening wear, and presented in the box illustrated.
