Blanc de Chine refers to white porcelain produced in the Dehua kilns of Fujian province, China. Foo Dogs, or Shi Lions, are traditional Chinese guardian figures originally placed outside palaces and temples, later adapted into small ceramic decorative sculptures and table lamps during the 19th and 20th centuries.
