Small Mahogany Longcase Clock by Maple, London

1900 - 1920
Description

A high quality small and slender Edwardian mahogany longcase clock. It has a 10" diameter convex silvered dial, with floral engraving and signed "Maple London". It has a heavy brass 8 day movement striking the hours and halves on a gong, with polished weights and pendulum. The solid mahogany case has choice curl veneers on the door and the sides and base have matching veneers with crossbanding. The hood has carved ribbon swags and matching beading.

A true original example of Edwardian craftsmanship at its best.

Current Condition

The case is in original condition with its original finish. The movement has been serviced and is guaranteed for 12 months.
