A very rare early 20th Century finely cast gilded bronze hall hanging lantern. This exceptional piece is after the Versailles model, of hexagonal and cage form with beautiful bevelled clear glass panels. The elongated and wide body is surmounted with a gorgeous fleur de lis corona top, features a panel to the side which opens to four interior lights and is embellished throughout with stunning foliate, flowerhead and finial motif detail.
