Description

A rustic pine two door cupboard with a pale, scrubbed finish. The top is formed of a two plank top with simple beaded edge. The front has two panelled doors with lightly chamfered inner mouldings and later turned wooden knobs. Inside is a single fixed shelf. The cupboard sits on a plinth base.

CONDITION REPORT:

Rustic, well-worn condition. Evidence this piece was originally the base of a larger cupboard with later adjustments and historical repairs visible. Marks, wear, old stains and shrinkage of planks evident. Previous woodworm activity particularly to front plinth (treated as a precaution). Plinth to the sides replaced. Doors open and close well. Structurally solid, sound and a practical piece.
