A very rare 19th century English lead amber wine glass dating to c1870.
It has a cup bowl with an blue opaline rim above a closed hollow stem. Applied opalescent pinched rigaree collars and prunts. Conical coiled foot.

A exceptionally rare form.

Excellent, no chips, cracks or restoration. A very small open air bubble from manufacture on the rim as shown. Very minor.
