Technical Description

A very fine Georgian Personal Whisky Carafe dating to c1830.

Beautifully cut with a wide poring rim, three applied neck rings and an array of cutting techniques including prism, slice, flute and diamond cuts. Star cut base.

Date & Origin

England, c1830. Period of William IV.

Condition

Excellent, age-related wear as shown. No chips cracks or restoration, clean and clear.

Dimensions

Height: 14 cm

Diameter: 9 cm.

Comments

Very much in the "personal" range holding 4 x 25ml drams each. It could be used for whisky or water, sitting on the bedside, desk, or bar, this is a great example and perfect as a gift.
