Masons Antiques has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The true colour of the clock is best depicted by the photograph of the lower half of the clock and is a lovely golden oak.

It has a silvered dial with black Arabic numerals and a silvered pendulum.
The clock strikes on the quarters and the hour sounding the Westminster chime. It strikes on rods, giving a very clear and lovely tone.
It has just been serviced by a fully qualified member of The British Horological Institute.
