Description

A beautifully carved French armoire of bleached, stripped oak which will provide ample storage for a light, bright interior. The shelving can be used for linen or clothing, but is removable and a hanging rail might easily be installed to provide wardrobe space for a bedroom.

- Removable cornice.

- Lovely carved doors, with flower and leaf motifs.

- Panelled sides and doors.

- Attractive external brass hinges and escutcheons.

- 3 removable shelves.

- Shaped apron and front legs.

In good condition showing wear consistent with age and use. As might be expected for a piece of this age, there are signs of historical woodworm, although this does not affect the structural integrity. The key is available.
