The World is Made of Glass Ltd. has dated this Georgian Engraved Glass Rummer to the 19th Century.
Some 50,000 people attended the opening alone and it acted as a tourist attraction for decades, giving the enterprising glass houses a ready market for memorabilia such as this rummer. The quality of engraving varies dramatically on Sunderland Bridge rummers and this particular one is at the top end of the spectrum as can be seen from the images.

The glass is in excellent condition for its age. This means, of course, that it shows age related wear and tear to the rim of the foot.
The glass has a cup-shaped bowl measuring 9.5 cm (3.8 inches) in diameter at the rim. The bowl is beautifully engraved on one side with a two masted ship passing under the newly erected Sunderland Road Bridge and on the other with the letters "JC"(?). The bowl sits on a capstan stem and a lemon squeezer foot which measures 6 cm (2.4 inches) across. The glass is 12.6 cm (5 inches) in height. The foot is in remarkably good condition for this form with only a few small chips to the corners and cut facets as can be seen in the relevant image. There are no other chips, cracks, significant scratches or any obvious evidence of restoration. There is a collector's sticker to the top of the foot and another to the bottom of the foot.
It is made from English lead metal. It weighs 310 g. (~ 11 oz.).
