A rare Victorian sterling silver reception, desk, servant etc... bell. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1890 with the makers mark being SWS. It has been superbly designed being finely pierced and is in full working order. To operate it you simply twist the knob on the top. It is in super condition being free from dings splits and holes, a possible old small repair around the top but its difficult to tell - see final photo. It measures approx 3.5 inches (8.3cms) square at the base and stands 3 inches tall. It weighs 188 grams including the internal steel parts. A rare very pretty piece.
