This is a good quality antique music stool in excellent condition dating from around 1890. The stool has a revolving corkscrew mechanism for height adjustment and fully lowered is 57 cms rising to a maximum height of 65 cms. This has a solid brass frame upholstered seat with brass buttoning in excellent order and is raised on a solid cast iron tripod base which makes it heavy and extremely stable. A great design in lovely original order, ready for use the stool measures 33 cms wide by 30 cms deep overall.
