Description

A mahogany Scottish longcase clock by JOHN FINDLAY of ABERDEEN.

John Findlay is recorded as working in "New Marflet Gallery" between 1836-1846.

The clock has a 12" dia. painted dial with subsiduary seconds dial and seperate date dial.

The quality 8 day movement has just been fully serviced and overhauled by a registered member of The British Horological Institute.

It strikes on the hour on a bell.

The mahogany case has a full length door with turned pedastels to the corners of the trunk.

There are round glass ventricles to the sides of the hood. It is fitted with original ogee bracket feet.

The clock carries a full 12mth. parts and labour guarantee.
