Nice Antique Georgian Emerald Green Glass Footed Bowl – Circa 1820

A Nice Antique Georgian Emerald Green Glass Footed Bowl. Showcasing a fine example of Georgian glassware, this elegant emerald green footed bowl dates from the late 18th to early 19th century. Hand-blown with a rich, jewel-like tone, it exemplifies the restrained yet striking aesthetic of Georgian decorative arts. The bowl is beautifully proportioned, with a wide flared rim tapering gracefully to a rounded body, raised on a well-balanced circular foot.

* Bowls of this type were often used as table centrepieces, filled with fruit, sweetmeats, or simply admired as decorative objects. Today, it stands as both a functional vessel and a collector’s piece, embodying over 200 years of craftsmanship.

Measurements:

Height: 4 1/4" (approx. 11cm)

Diameter across top: 8" (approx. 20cm)

Total weight: 749g

In good condition – No cracks, chips, or restoration noted. Expected light wear and small bubbles/irregularities within the glass from the hand-blown process — all typical of genuine Georgian manufacture.
