French Ormolu Mantel Clock

Description



A good, small gilt ormolu mantel clock. The case depicts cupid and a maiden playing a lyre. It has a fine convex enamel dial, an 8 day pendulum bell striking movement which sounds on the hours and halves. (France, c. 1825)

24.00cm wide 29.00cm high 10.00cm deep (9.45 inches wide 11.42 inches high 3.94 inches deep)

Current Condition

The gilt is in good original condition. The movement has been serviced and is guaranteed for 12 months
