A Superb Large Antique / Old Pine Waxed Victorian Mule Chest

This box is in good condition. We have professionally stripped and restored it and waxed it in a lovely antique brown bri wax.

This box would look well in an old or modern property in any room for any type of storage purpose amongst similar antique pine furniture. It would look great in a bedroom or in a living room with a large TV placed on top.

This box stands on victorian bracket feet supporting the main section. There are two large drawers. The drawers have round turned wooden knobs, dovetail joints and are pine lined. The corners are connected with dovetail joints and the ends have their original metal carry handles. The top itself is in good condition and has a bull nosed edge. There is plenty of storage space beneath and the lid is on original victorian pin hinges.

The height is 77cm, the width is 103cm and the depth is 56cm.

Shipping /delivery is equally as important to us as the item of furniture itself. It is simple; we deliver everything personally in England / Wales so this way we are 100% sure that the item / furniture reaches our customers safe and sound. We NEVER use couriers. Delivery is generally within 7-14 days of purchase. We guarantee delivery anywhere in England / Wales within 21 days of purchase.

Deliveries to Scotland as far north as Perth are guaranteed within 6 weeks of purchase. If delivery is required above Perth in Scotland please contact James on 07957 392 074 or

Deliveries are either carried out by David or James as one member of the team is required to stay in the warehouse, therefore we do require assistance from the van into your hallway with the item of furniture. We have set delivery days and once the van is loaded (a day prior to delivery) David will call customers to arrange a two hour delivery time slot. Customers will also receive a text when delivery is 30 minutes away.

It is really helpful if customers can provide their ‘what3words’ location to make delivery as smooth

as possible, especially properties in rural locations.

Ireland Deliveries

We do use a very good courier company called DVM Service to deliver goods to Ireland. We ask the customer to pay this company direct for the delivery charge and we then liaise with DVM regarding collection of a customer’s item of furniture to be shipped to Ireland.

Europe & Rest of the World

We do not ship to Europe or the Rest of the World.
