A Rather good Scottish country oak cased long case clock by Alexander Oliphant of Pittenweem, Fife.
Alexander Oliphant Snr lodged with the much acclaimed maker John Smith of Pittenweem and given the place name on this clock one would assume that it was not made by his son ( better known than his father) who lived and worked in Anstruther, Fife.
Fully serviced and ready to go.
Circa 1790
Standing 7'' tall, 19'' wide by 9'' deep.
Local delivery free (up to 50 miles), further afield at cost.
High resolution photographs are always available by request and all pieces are fully functional and where necessary have been through our workshop to ensure longevity and originality.
