A good 19th century Oak and metal bound silver chest.
 
The body of the chest is baize lined and the top has floral paper with a later padded baize
 
The lock is Georgian and stamped BARRON GR PATENT
 
It was later the property of the Goldsmith and Silversmith ROBERT DICKER 8 Vigo St Regent St London W
 
There is a metal hinged cover for the main lock. No key.
 
Original cast iron handle to each side.
 
External measurements are:
