A handsome and good quality antique early Victorian mahogany bedside cupboard dating from circa 1840. Featuring a three quarter gallery over a single figured cupboard door enclosing a slatted pot cupboard base and raised on turned legs. The door has its original turned knob and latch mechanism. With wonderful colour and original patina and splendid figuring to the mahogany. A really good quality piece that would work equally well as a bedside cabinet as it would next to a desk or as a lamp table.

Solid and sturdy. Good colour and original patina. Various marks and wear commensurate with age. A small section of beading missing to bottom of cupboard door. Groove to inside of cupboard which latch has made from 150+ years of use.
