Antique Victorian Marble Top Bedside Table

Description

An antique mahogany marble top bedside cabinet or pot cupboard, of useful compact proportions. Constructed in mahogany, the cabinet has a rich warm colour with attractive grain throughout. The marble top has rounded corners to the front, above a single panelled cupboard door with turned wooden knob, opening to reveal a single internal shelf. Raised on a substantial moulded plinth base.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition, commensurate with age and use. The mahogany retains a lovely rich colour and warm patina. The marble top has some light staining and marks, together with a small chip to the rear corner. There are various scratches and areas of wear throughout, particularly to the plinth base, consistent with age and previous use. The cupboard door opens and closes correctly and the interior is fitted with a single shelf. Overall, a useful and attractive example.
