A tazza is an elevated shallow bowl or pedestal dish traditionally used during the Victorian era for serving fruit, cakes, or sweetmeats at formal dining tables.

Cranberry glass is produced by adding gold chloride to molten glass to achieve its distinctive rich pinkish-red hue, often combined with frosted and cut crystal techniques.

Authentic pieces often exhibit small pontil marks on the base, hand-cut facets, minor manufacturing imperfections, and consistent colour saturation characteristic of 19th-century glasshouses.

Antique glass centerpieces provide a vibrant splash of colour and historical texture when displayed on dining tables, sideboards, or open shelving as standalone decorative objects.

Antique glass should be washed gently by hand in lukewarm water using mild dish soap, avoiding sudden temperature changes and abrasive scouring pads to protect the delicate surface.
