We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.

Art Deco emerged in France during the 1910s and flourished internationally through the 1920s and 1930s, characterised by sleek geometric shapes, stylised motifs, and modern industrial materials.

These items were typically produced using pressed, moulded, or blown glass, frequently accented with hand-painted enamel designs, chrome fittings, or applied colour highlights.

Authentic pieces generally exhibit period-specific manufacturing traits such as mould seams, minor age-related wear, hand-finished enamelling, and specific weight and clarity characteristic of twentieth-century glass production.

Display these pieces on open shelving, sideboards, or bar carts to add a touch of geometric contrast and period charm to modern minimalist or eclectic spaces.

Wash them gently by hand using lukewarm water and mild dish soap, avoiding abrasive pads or harsh chemical cleaners to protect any hand-painted surface decoration.
