Description

A wonderful ring. The sapphire in the centre - certified as natural, unheated and originating from Ceylon (Sri Lanka) - displays a bright and vibrant blue. The stone exhibits a slight colour change from blue in natural light, to bluish purple in incandescent light. Secured in a ten claw 18k yellow gold coronet collet, the sapphire sits between diamond set platinum shoulders to a slim platinum shank.

Accompanied by a sapphire report from The Gem & Pearl Laboratory stating the sapphire shows no evidence of heating, and is Sri Lankan (Ceylon) in origin.

Cut:? Cushion cut sapphire and eight-cut diamonds.

Colour:? The sapphire displays a slight colour change (blue in daylight, purple is incandescent light). The diamonds are G to H.

Clarity:? The sapphires is eye-clean. The diamonds are VS1 to VS2.

Carat:? The sapphire is 2.96 carat. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.10 carat.

Circa:? 1925.

Size:? N 1/2 (UK) or 6 3/4 (US). Free sizing available.

Measurements:? The sapphire is 9.6 x 6.7mm. Sits 5.6mm from the finger.
