Rene Lalique Victoire car mascot
.
Named Victoire to celebrate the 10th anniversary of armistice of world war one. Also know as sprit of the wind and probably one of the most iconic pieces of glass from the art deco period.
Mounted in an original chrome radiator mount and a period oak stepped base.
As you can see in the photos the mascot has been inspected out of the mount and I can confirm there is not damage.
The condition is as good as it gets. There are a few little scuffs here and there really nothing to speak of. Internally it is free from air bubbles and any manufacturing imperfections.
Raised moulded marks R Lalique France.
France is really quite faint but its there.
Introduced in 1928
