William Harrison and Son, Brassfounders, are listed in The New Triennial Directory for Birmingham of 1818 as being in business in Park Street of that city. Very few antique candlesticks bear a Maker''s Mark, the late Ronald Michaelis, in his authoritative work, '' Old Domestic Base Metal Candlesticks'', suggesting perhaps only one in a thousand.
