Description

A lovely little Geo III Longcase clock by William Drury of Banbury, Oxon. He is listed as working there 1773 and 1810.

The case is in nicely figured oak with mahogany cross banding and stands only 75" tall. It has a long door, nice compact hood with fluted quarter columns, brass capitals and stands on it's original shaped plinth.

The good quality 8 day movement strikes the hours on a bell and has a very smart silvered dial with subsidiary seconds and date dials.

The case is in very good unrestored condition and has retained it's original finish.

The movement is in good working order and keeping good time.

Free local delivery and set up (50mls), national and international delivery arranged at cost.
