I have for sale a 1960s Oval carriage clock made by the famous Garrard company(Queens' Jeweller) it has been fully serviced and is in stunning condition I think ex shop stock looks like new with the gold plating on the movement and of course keeping spot on time over eight days with the original key perfect as a gift to be engraved with that special message possibly?
The Case
The case is in the rare oval style which is solid heavy brass and stands 16 cm high x 10cm wide with a depth of 8cm it is in perfect condition with mint oval bevelled glass sides/front/back door and top viewing glass.
The Dial
The dial is in mint original condition. It is white with Roman numerals and the signature of Garrard & Co London. The clock also retains its original black moon hands.
The Movement
Overall a very beautiful heavy top quality carriage clock by a quality maker that looks stunning on display and contains all of its original features this is quite a rare find these days.
