Woodbridge Antiques has dated these Silver Grape Scissors to the 1870s.
On the inside of the blades are the clear hallmarks for the London Assay office with a date mark for 1872 and Lion Passant, along with the silver maker's mark: Chawner & Co (George William Adams).

In superb condition with no damage or repairs, these are an exceptional pair of silver grape scissors in great working order and very aesthetically pleasing.
