Pair of Globe Wernicke Stacking Bookcases

1900 - 1920
Description

A good pair of oak Globe Wernicke sectional bookcase in excellent condition having been professionally repolished. Each comprises a top, a base and three glazed sections with 'up and over' doors with scissor action mechanisms . Each section with original back boards; one marked with Globe Wernicke transfer label.

In excellent condition throughout, professionally repolished. Some signs of historic worm to the backboards as to be expected which had been treated and filled as a matter of course. A very good pair.
