This superb Victorian mahogany dwarf linen press was made circa 1860.
This is a rare cupboard to be this wonderful small size. It can be used in so many places around your home.
It was made in one of the top workshops in the period, the cabinetmaker selecting fine grade mahogany to make this wonderful housekeeper’s cupboard.
The Victorian mahogany dwarf wardrobe has 3 panel doors with arched corners, a double door section enclosing the linen press and a drawer, the 3rd door opens to reveal a brass hanging rail.
The doors with fine turned mahogany knobs, to allow you to pull the doors open for you to get to the interiors.
This fine linen press comes into multiple pieces to allow easy transportation to and around your home.
Housekeeper’s cupboards are always good quality as they were made to go into wealthy owners’ homes, the example I offer here is at the top end of quality and will give you an item that is not only attractive to look at but it also provides wonderful storage options.
