Victorian pan top champagne glasses feature a broad, shallow bowl with a flat or slightly rounded rim, designed specifically for sparkling wines of the 19th century.

These pieces were typically crafted from lead crystal, shaped by free-blowing or mould-blowing, and finished with hand-cut or wheel-engraved decorative motifs.

Authentic pieces often exhibit minor surface wear, pontil marks on the base, slight irregularities in the glass thickness, and period-appropriate engraving styles.

Antique glassware adds historic texture when displayed in illuminated cabinets, arranged on open shelving, or used purposefully for intimate dinner parties.

Antique crystal should always be washed by hand in lukewarm water using mild detergent, avoiding sudden temperature changes and abrasive scourers.
