Arundel Clocks has dated this piece to the 1890s.
I have for sale a top quality 1900s carriage clock made in France in a beautiful rare case with a solid brass gilded mask which has a nice chased centre, this clock and case have been fully restored this is a rare Art Deco style case work with the rare solid matching handle.

The Case
The case is in solid heavy brass and stands 15cm high x 8cm wide with a depth of 6cm it is in good condition with original bevelled glass sides/front/back door and a rare style of case having a thick cast handle the whole thing is simply beautiful and very pleasing on the eye.

The Dial
The dial is in original condition with a silvered chapter ring with Arabic numerals but housed in the most beautiful mask which is gilded and contains chased and gilded flower to the centre of which is a piece of art in its own right, this clock is also contains the original black spade hands.

When the sunlight catches the front panel the whole clock comes alive and glimmers so beautifully.
The Movement
The movement is an eight-day time only; the movement has been fully ultrasonic restored and serviced, new spring then, oiled so keeping a great time over the eight days via the jewelled escapement to the top.

The key is included.
