This is a matched set of six mouth-blown 19th century Bristol green wine glasses with bucket shaped bowls and knopped stems. The glasses are in excellent condition for their age. They show age related wear and tear to the rims of the feet consistent with some 100 plus years of use. The feet have either rough or polished out pontil marks to the underside.The glasses have bucket-shaped bowls measuring 7.2 cm (2.9 inches) in diameter at the rims. The bowls are plain and sit on single collars and capstan stems with medial angular knops. The stems lead to conical feet which measure 7.7 cm (3.1 inches) in diameter. The glasses are 12.8 cm. (5.1 inches) in height. There are no chips, cracks, significant scratches or any obvious signs of restoration.
