Japanese Porcelain Vase with Lacquer Over-Paint. Circa 1880.

The porcelain vase deeply lacquered and decorated in rich red, black and gold japanese colours. The painting includes birds, trees and Mount Fuji in the background. In excellent condition with no damage to the vase. The lacquer at the base of the vase showing some exposed areas of porcelain.

A heavy piece at 5Kg approx.
