A Pretty English Skeleton Clock

Description

An attractive and good quality mid-19th century English SKELETON CLOCK of small size. The eight-day movement with its fine chain fusee, is fitted with six-spoked wheels throughout and precision brass pendulum, whilst the silvered dial is engraved with its Roman numerals. Complete with its original period glass dome and mahogany base. 12ins (30cms) high including the dome and base. circa 1850-65
