Mahogany Grandmother Clock

1900 - 1920
Description

An 18th century style solid mahogany miniature longcase clock (Grandmother clock). It has a break arch top case with side frets and a brass dial with a tempus fugit plaque (Latin for Time Flies) . The trunk has a long door and stands on a base with shaped ogee feet. It has an 8 day 1/4 hour Westminster chime movement, with a long pendulum (Big Ben chimes). Originally retailed by John Hanson of Rotherham

Current Condition

The case retains its original finish in good condition, the movement has been serviced and is guaranteed for 12 months .(our professional servicing includes cleaning, any necessary bushing, pivot polishing, testing and timing)
