We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.

Georg Jensen founded his Copenhagen silversmithy in 1904, establishing an iconic aesthetic that combined Art Nouveau organic forms with functionalism, later evolving into clean modernist Scandinavian design.

Authentic pieces are typically crafted from sterling silver, often featuring hand-hammered surfaces, oxidised details to create depth, and sculptural botanical or abstract motifs executed by skilled artisans.

Authenticity is verified through official makers marks, designer signatures, and standard silver purity hallmarks stamped into the metal, with specific variations in the stamp denoting the production decade.

These functional objects can be displayed within glass-fronted cabinets, used on tablescapes for entertaining, or framed as mixed-media wall art to highlight their sculptural metalwork.

Silver should be stored in anti-tarnish cloths or bags, washed with mild soap and warm water when necessary, and polished sparingly using non-abrasive cloths to preserve the original patina and fine details.
