Technical Description
A stunning 19th century Greek revival opaline glass amphora dating to c1880.
Gilded handle and rim with a black ground neck with beautifully hand painted colourful flowers. Blue and yellow Greek key to the shoulders with a white opaline below showing colour flowers and scrolls with a gilded black ground figure with a wreath, possible a saint. Further flowers and Greek key to the circular foot.
Unmarked but almost certainly French and Baccarat.

Condition
Excellent, no chips, cracks or restoration, clean and clear. Gilding and Enamel in excellent condition with only minor loss of gilding.
