Fusee Dial Wall Clock, Chain Driven

1920 - 1940
Sold by Clockwise
Description

Clockwise is delighted to offer you a simply stunning and tastefully restored chain-driven, eight day fusee wall clock dating from the 1930's. This is a high quality clock movement and whilst little is known about the retailer this manufacturer's clocks are known to have cropped up in government buildings and hospitals. The gorgeous mahogany case, with locking bottom door and standard side door, frames the 12 inch dial beautifully and is slightly smaller than most clocks of this nature. The original spade hands complete the stunning exterior appearance and inside the eight day movement has been stripped, rebushed, cleaned and oiled through and is covered by my three year guarantee. The clock comes with its original pendulum and two keys, one for the lower door.

I prefer collection or I can deliver regionally/nationally, however I do use Royal Mail as a courier and post nationally so this tracked and insured service is available, please enquire for a quote. All antique clocks require delicate handling and specific setting up so it is far better for a dealer to meet a client and talk them through the process, or set the clock up for them, rather than leave the client struggling at the other end on their own but this redoubtable clock will be straightforward to set up for you. I am always available for a video chat should there be any problems.

Every single antique dealer on our platform is individually approved by our internal team. We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.
