18th Cent Mahogany Longcase Clock

Description

A nice simple 18th Cent mahogany longcase clock by Wadge. There is a Josiah Wadge listed as working in Calligton, Cornwall from 1754, the dial on this clock is dated for 1769.

The 30hr movement has a 10" square dial has unusual silvered spandrels and a large working date aperture. The case is in good original. un-restored, condition and the movement is in good working order and keeping good time.

The maximum dimensions are:

49cm (19”) wide

201cm (79”) high

26cm (10”) deep
