I have for sale a 1930s art deco burr mahogany Elliott grandmother clock in very good original condition for the age from the original owner’s estate.
The Case
The case is in solid burr mahogany and stands 158cm high x 34cm wide with a depth of 24cm it is in very good original condition very well looked has been well waxed and looked after for many years with original door key and standing on brass bun feet.

This clock is there top quality best they made at the time the case is mega heavy solid mahogany.
The Dial
The dial is in original good condition with a silvered chapter ring, with the original gilded centre and ornate hands which are original to this very old clock the clock is signed Elliott and has strike / silent lever at numeral 3.

The Movement
The movement is an eight day time and strike which strikes the tune of Westminster on each quarter with the full tune and hour strike on the top of the hour it sounds amazing to be honest; the movement was cleaned and oiled in 2022 so keeps spot on time over eight days.

This is all run via the original pendulum .
The photos do not do justice to this stunning old clock.
