Mahogany and Brass Inlaid Mantel Clock

Description

A solid mahogany mantel clock, having a break arch case surmounted by three brass finials, and a centel scroll pediment. The case has brass side piliasters and a floral and line brass inalid decoration,standing on brass ball feet.It has a bevel edge convex glass with an enamel dial. The 8 day gong striking movement is made by WBK & Fils of Paris and is numbered 20037 .(England, c. 1900)

23.00cm wide 34.50cm high 13.00cm deep (9.06 inches wide 13.58 inches high 5.12 inches deep)

Current Condition

The case has been re-polished and waxed, the brass has been lacquer so as not to tarnish and the movement has been serviced and is guaranteeed for 12 months (our professional servicing includes cleaning, any necessary bushing, pivot polishing, testing and timing)
