The painted arched dial has a moonroller dial and subsiduary seconds dial and date ring.
The case is constructed of very fine flame mahogany with reeded quarter columns to the trunk and canted corners to the base. It stands on ogeed bracket feet.

The hood has two inset blue glass panels embossed with 22ct gold scroll work.
The clock retains its original french-polished finish and has a warm, rich, deep patina that only age can achieve.
