Its About Time has dated this piece to the 1890s.
Glass front and side panels in great condition. Very attractive ebonised turned side columns which sit separate from the main body of the case, as well as turned ebonised finials to the top and bottom of the case. It has a nice two piece enamel dial in very good condition with brass bezel and ornate set of hands. Striking the hours and half hours on a gong, it has a wooden rod pendulum with brass faced bob.
