Fine Antique French Bronze Ormolu and Marble Eight Day Striking Mantel Clock

Description

Fine antique French bronze ormolu and marble eight day striking mantel clock having two magnificent quality bronze figures, one being a lady in period dress the other of a standing cupid either side of a fine eight day french clock which strikes on the hour and the half hour on a bell. The ornate porcelain dial is beautifully hand painted with original hands and ormolu mounts standing on a shaped marble base with a moulded edge and supported by ornate ormolu feet.

This is an outstanding example with exceptional features, it has been crafted to the highest standards as expected in a quality French timepiece, it is in lovely condition and in good working order.
