A very rare set of ''Picture Back'' teaspoons dating from the mid 18th Century. This wonderful set are all matching and feature a fabulous ''Vase of flowers'' picture back. The spoon bowls are long and slender and feature hammer marks to the edges where they have been raised from a flat sheet of silver by the silversmith. The handles are Hanoverian in design and the spoons are bottom marked. Picture back spoons are rather scarce these days. To find a set of three, dating to the mid 18th Century is a wonderful find and a great addition to any collection. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Excellent, with no holes or dents. The bowl tips to all are very good as are the crispness of the pictures.
Hallmarks :- Present and matching. Small items of flatware from this period, were only ever struck with the Maker''s mark and Sterling Lion.
