Small Red Chinoiserie Bracket Clock

1920 - 1940
Description

A small, red chinoiserie lacquered bracket clock in the late 17th Century style made around 1930. the case has raised gilt lacquer in the oriental style having a caddy bell top with a brass carrying handle, an engraved square brass dial with a silvered chapter ring. The 8 day platform movement was made by Astral of England.
